Watch Stefan Propose to Elena on The Vampire Diaries Over and Over

The Vampire Diaries has been kind of a downer lately, what with Damon and Bonnie stuck in 1994 and Elena's memory wiped of all the love she had for Damon, but this week offered a surprisingly uplifting scene. Elena goes to see Stefan, and he tells her all about his new life as an auto mechanic. It's really nice to see these two getting along for once, and while they're bonding over beers, Stefan "Cooper" demonstrates how easy it is to start over with a new life by getting on one knee and proposing to Elena "Williams." Things take a funny turn when she asks him (loudly) if he's proposing to her because she's pregnant. He responds by saying "no" and thanking her for sticking by him through his bullfighting injury.
