Sterling K. Brown took home his first-ever SAG Award on Sunday night, thanks to his amazing role as Randall Pearson on This Is Us. After being presented by Niecy Nash — who wanted to read Sterling's name out loud "because he's black" — Brown kissed wife Ryan Michelle Bathé and hopped onstage to deliver a sweet and impactful acceptance speech; while thanking his This Is Us castmates, he expressed gratitude for his "white family" not being like the one in Get Out.
Brown made history with his SAG Award, becoming the first black man to win in the outstanding performance by a male actor in a drama category. He hit the same milestone at the Golden Globes earlier this month. Watch his SAG Awards speech above now.
