From the Hitchcockian suspense of The Woman in the Window to the Swedish crime drama 3 Seconds, some of the best thrillers in recent memory will soon be hitting theaters. However, in true thriller fashion, not all is as it seems between Roy and Betty.

Finn's bestselling novel The Woman in the Window is set to be released sometime in 2020 with Amy Adams taking on the lead role of an agoraphobic woman who believes she witnessed a crime. Edward Norton is directing and starring in the film adaptation of Jonathan Lethem's Motherless Brooklyn which is set for an Oscar-friendly Nov. 1 release date. The novel the movie is based on adds a modern twist to the classic detective genre. Lionel Essrog suffers from Tourette syndrome, but he finds work with a mob boss who treats him like family. When his boss is killed, it's left up to Lionel to untangle the web of deception that led to the man's murder.

Agatha Christie's timeless novel Death on the Nile will soon hit the big screen (again) in a movie with a cast that includes Kenneth Branagh and Gal Gadot.
