Voldemort: Origins of the Heir Youtube Film

Get Ready to Lose Your Sh*t, Because There's a Voldemort Film on YouTube For Free

Harry Potter fans, get ready, because we've been blessed. The rumored and much anticipated Voldemort: Origins of the Heir fan film is now on YouTube, and it's entirely free to stream.

The 52-minute film is a prequel to the Harry Potter series, and it's been created by fans, for fans. The film follows Tom Riddle's early life and his rise to power, ultimately leading him to become the Dark Lord. Gianmaria Pezzato (director and screenwriter) and Stefano Prestia (executive producer) explained that their intentions behind the film came from the idea that "Harry Potter and Tom Riddle are opposite sides of the same coin/in many ways, a mirror of each other, whose actions are shaped by their choices." Throughout the film, you'll be transported back to Tom's experiences at Hogwarts, with clues from the books used in a way that may lead to greater detail about his fate in becoming you-know-who.

The film is in English, with many other subtitles available so everyone can enjoy the film. The creators are asking people to share a photo of themselves watching the film with the hashtag #WatchingVoldemort.
