CBS All Access is about to be home to the most delicious (and deadliest) show on TV, if the trailer for the upcoming Why Women Kill is any indication.
In the first look at the series, above, we meet three different women living their lives during three different time periods who have one thing in common: they all reside in the same palatial home. Oh, actually, scratch that — they have two things in common, if you count the fact that they just might want to murder their cheating husbands. The three women in question are played by Ginnifer Goodwin (Once Upon a Time), Lucy Liu (Elementary), and Kirby Howell-Baptiste (Veronica Mars), with their characters being from the '50s, '80s, and 2000s, respectively.
Goodwin's husband, played by Sam Jaeger, appears to be seeing a diner waitress on the side, while Liu's character discovers incriminating photos of her husband (Jack Davenport) with other men. As for Howell-Baptiste? Well, her character is a part of an open marriage that suddenly gets a little too open with the arrival of Jade (Alexandra Daddario). Given the twists and turns the trailer takes — read: blow jobs and murder — it's no surprise the series hails from Desperate Housewives creator Marc Cherry.
Watch the trailer for the darkly comedic drama above before it begins streaming on CBS All Access on Aug. 15!
