When Does Ozark Season 2 Come Out?

Netflix Drops a Haunting Teaser and Release Date For Ozark Season 2

Are you ready to dive back into the dark world of the Byrde family? Because the gritty Netflix drama is returning for season two in just a few short months. In the trailer for the season, released on Wednesday, Netflix not only reveals the premiere date (Aug. 31) but also hints that a bunch of ominous events are in the cards for Wendy (Laura Linney) and Marty (Jason Bateman). Don't believe me? Take a glance at a few pieces of dialogue uttered throughout the minute-long clip:

  • "We've done a lot of things. Things that we said we would never do."
  • "Choices have consequences."
  • "What is the end game?!"
  • "So that's it?"

Not exactly bright and sunny lines, right? Season two will presumably pick up as the Byrdes deal with new foes, the ruthless Snell family, and a certain someone's father being released from prison. Check out the trailer above.
