One thing that can instantly make an episode of The Bachelor better is a cameo from an alumnus. Well, for some nearly impossible reason to understand, ABC denied us an appearance from two alumni.
Southern belle Tia Booth brought Arie Luyendyk Jr. home to Weiner, AR, (yes, really) to meet her family. However, since we can't quit our jobs and watch the franchise all day, we only got to see a small portion of every date. One of the things that we missed is that Tia and Arie met up with Tia's best friend, Raven Gates, and her boyfriend, Adam Gottschalk. Raven and Adam were on seasons of The Bachelor and The Bachelorette but started dating on Bachelor in Paradise.

Arie confirmed that the four hung out after one fan tweeted: "And excuse me… @ariejr and @tiarachel91 hung out with @ravengates09 and @AdamJGottschalk during Tias hometown and we were denied being able to see that?!? WHAT IS THIS B.S. ?!? #thebachelor." Arie responded by retweeting it and adding: "Welcome to the wonderful world of editing!"
Raven provided the photo evidence above (thank goodness for Instagram) with the caption: "Can't wait to watch #TheBachelor tonight!! #hometowns Arie was so sweet! And it was so nice to see Tia so happy."
Raven and Adam met on season four of Bachelor in Paradise, and they've been together ever since! You can read about the adorable moment she realized he was a keeper after leaving Paradise.
Unfortunately, there won't be any double-dating for the ladies and their men. After visiting all of the ladies' hometowns, Arie decided to send Tia home. Hey, if BIP worked for Raven, it just might work for her BFF!
