Behind Her Eyes is the latest book-to-TV adaptation from Netflix, based on the novel by Sarah Pinborough. On Feb. 4, Netflix released the official trailer and let me tell you, this new series is definitely one that'll keep you on your toes. The show follows the seemingly normal love triangle between Louise (played by Simona Brown) and a married couple David and Adele (played by Tom Bateman and Eve Hewson), as things slowly start to get out of hand.
Louise meets David on a spontaneous evening out, and sparks fly pretty much immediately. It's only when she bumps into him at work and realises that he's her new boss, that trouble ensues. But that's not all, she then finds out that he's married and somehow manages to befriend his wife Adele. From the get-go, Adele latches on to Louise and fills her head with stories about David, leading Louise to wonder about Adele's safety — and more importantly, her past. On the other hand, David can't seem to leave Louise alone, and the constant sneaking around between the three of them makes this love triangle one of the messiest of all time — but then, there's a twist. Things get dark pretty quickly, and Louise is left with the choice of abandoning her newfound love, or trying her hardest to save him instead. What will she choose? You'll have to wait and see . . .
Watch the trailer for Behind Her Eyes now, before it lands on Netflix on Feb. 17.
