Here is your Saturday Night Live host, Harry Styles! The "Lights Up" singer made his hosting debut on Nov. 16, and he started off strong with a funny monologue all about his serious life as a musician. As he played the piano, Styles reflected on his career thus far — and yes, that means he talked about One Direction.

In fact, he didn't just mention his former boy band (FYI, he's in a "man band" now), he fully teased a reunion on the show. "How crazy would it be if they were here tonight?" he joked before launching into a back-and-forth à la Kombucha Girl, Brittany Broski. Sadly, there was no One Direction reconnection during either of his SNL performances, but Styles did assure the audience that he's still fond of his bandmates. "I love those guys. They're my brothers. Niall, Liam, Louis . . . Ringo."

Is that a little shade toward Zayn Malik we detect? By their own admission, Styles and Malik were not that close within the band and became even less so after Malik left in 2016. Styles's small jab appeared to be all in good fun, however, as he roasted his former X Factor mentor right after. "I'm just so grateful Simon Cowell grew us in those test tubes."
