Maisie Williams's Netflix Movie Will Hold You Over Until Game of Thrones Is Back

Game of Thrones won't be back until, well, who even knows, but you can get your Maisie Williams fix elsewhere. She's starring in a new film exclusive to Netflix called iBoy, about a teenager (Bill Milner) who gets fragments of his smartphone embedded into his brain during a violent encounter. He unexpectedly develops strange abilities, and they lead him down a dangerous path. Dun, dun, dun! That's all fine and well, but where does Williams fit into this? She plays the guy's friend, who is assaulted by the gang. Judging by the trailer, she's much more than a damsel in distress. Though she's been in non-Game of Thrones roles before, it's especially strange to see her out of armor and in modern clothes this time. The movie hits Netflix on Jan. 12!
