Romy and Michele may have attended their official high school reunion on the big screen over 20 years ago, but they just reunited in real life earlier this week. On Tuesday, Lisa Kudrow, who played Michele in Romy and Michele's High School Reunion, took to Instagram to share a photo of herself posing with her former costar Mira Sorvino. "Most thrilling moment for me at a party EVER," she captioned it. "Genuinely GOOD person @mirasorvino see you soon." The onscreen besties ran into each other at an event, though thankfully, they had the luxury of not having to navigate any awkward encounters with former classmates.
This reunion comes just days after Kudrow spent part of Friends' 25th anniversary weekend catching up with Courteney Cox at Dan Bucatinsky's birthday celebration, so clearly she's on a roll. Sorvino also posted the shot from above on her own Instagram and noted that the duo will be seeing each other again this Friday. She obviously didn't specify what for, but the optimist in me can only hope that their meeting has something to do with a potential Romy and Michele sequel. Guess we'll have to wait and see.
