Megan Thee Stallion pulled double duty on the Oct. 15 episode of "Saturday Night Live" serving up one hilarious sketch after another, but it was her emotional performance of "Anxiety" that resonated the most with fans. "Anxiety," which includes a tribute to the rapper's late mother, is from her latest album, "Traumazine." The personal nature of the song combined with Megan's announcement that she's going on a break post-"SNL" in the wake of her home being broken into on Thursday, Oct. 13, led to the singer visibly tearing up as she belted out "Anxiety" on the Studio 8H stage.

The pure emotion of the moment resonated with viewers in a big way, with many fans sharing tweets praising Megan's performance. Music documentarian and writer @katekillet tweeted, "Megan Thee Stallion holding back tears performing 'Anxiety' on #SNL when the lyrics about her mom hit. Yes I'm crying." Another fan wrote, "Megan Thee Stallion is all of us when we have anxiety as she holds back her tears while performing 'Anxiety' on #SNL. We can all relate 🥹."

In addition to her resonate rendition of "Anxiety," Megan also performed the more upbeat "NDA/Plan B" to close out the show. The "Hot Girl Summer" rapper's "SNL" gig came just days after more than $300,000 worth of jewelry and other items were stolen from her Los Angeles home after a break-in. Megan was in New York preparing to host "SNL" at the time of the robbery, and she tweeted a message to her fans to let everyone know she's OK.

"Material things can be replaced but I'm glad everyone is safe 💙🙏🏾," she wrote on Oct. 14. She later followed up her tweet with another message letting her fans know she was going to take a break after "SNL." She tweeted, "Hotties im really sorry but after SNL I really gotta take a break I'm so tired, physically and emotionally."
