Only the Normal People Cast Could Have Chemistry While Reenacting a Guy Fieri Cooking Scene

When Normal People actors Daisy Edgar-Jones and Paul Mescal visited The Late Late Show With James Corden on Wednesday night, they'd have expected to discuss their character's off-the-charts chemistry. What they probably didn't expect was being forced to re-create that chemistry on the spot . . . by acting out a scene of Gordon Ramsay in an episode of Hell's Kitchen. Or Guy Fieri describing — in great detail — a cabbage dish.

But once again, Daisy and Paul proved that they really are the queen and king of onscreen passion. They kept their cool while talking about an intricate meal involving cabbage and didn't crack once during their rendition of a Home Shopping Network advertisement. But it was Gordon Ramsay yelling about crab that really broke them — especially Paul, and frankly, especially me, too.
