In "Spotlight," McAdams plays journalist Sacha Pfeiffer, who works alongside fellow journalists Michael Rezendes (Mark Ruffalo) and Walter "Robby" Robinson (Michael Keaton) to get to the bottom of a covered-up sex scandal in the Archdiocese of Boston. Through their investigative work, the journalists are able to shed light on the many stories that were swept under the rug and bring justice to the victims.
