Mindy Kaling, Novak's former onscreen girlfriend (and co-worker — he executive produces The Mindy Project) has spoken up on behalf of his book. She took to Twitter to praise his work and share her contribution, saying, "I'm doing audio commentary for @bjnovak's incredibly funny and well-written new book of short stories and I'm going to ruin it with prattle." Mindy isn't the only actress to add her stamp of approval. Lena Dunham tweeted a link to the book trailer, adding, "I vouch for the creativity, intelligence and skill of this very fine book and its very fine author." Even Katy Perry tweeted about B.J.'s work, deeming it "a spectacular book."
