Professional Life: Following his roles in two hit '80s films — "Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom" and "The Goonies" — Quan appeared in a few TV series and 1992's "Encino Man" with "Goonies" costar Astin. At one point, he stepped out of the spotlight, although he did work as the fight choreographer for "X-Men" and "The One." But in 2022, he starred in the highly acclaimed film "Everything Everywhere All at Once" as Waymond, the husband of Michelle Yeoh's character, Evelyn Wang. The role netted him a Golden Globe award for best supporting actor in a motion picture.
Personal Life: Quan graduated from the University of Southern California School of Cinematic Arts. He is now married and thanked his wife in his Golden Globes acceptance speech, calling her "the most important person in my life" and "the one person that has never stopped believing in me."
