Affleck has of course played a superhero before, in 2003's Daredevil, but he's set to portray an arguably huger pop culture figure: Batman. He'll first appear as the character in Zack Snyder's Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, and then he's expected to also appear in the Justice League movies.
