Pretty Little Liars: 13 Things to Expect From the Game-Changing 7th Season

During our interview with Huw Collins, the actor assured us that things are just heating up between the show's biggest couples. "I think certainly the finale showed more explicit romance . . . it was a little fleshy there. And I think it would definitely be fair to say that we'll pick up where that left off in season seven. Maybe not for Alison and Rollins . . . but we're going to see a lot of romance."

In our interview with Collins, we asked why the Carissimi Group is so important to Mary Drake. Collins coyly answered, "Mary we don't know much about. The Carissimi Group we don't know much about. But we both know that they're linked, and we both know there is a link to Charlotte there. I think the true meaning and the true nature of Carissimi and what that represents to the story, and to Mary, and to Elliot, is something that we will see in season seven."

In case you ever had any doubt, Collins assured us that season seven would pretty much answer every question we've ever had about PLL: "I think that season seven will definitely be the season of answers. I know you've heard that before, but I really think that . . . and really on an episode-by-episode basis."

According to creator I. Marlene King's recent interview with Zap2it, we're going to be seeing a lot of familiar faces in future episodes. According to King, "'the intention' of season seven is to see all the supporting characters viewers know and love — Paige (Lindsey Shaw), Jenna (Tammin Sursok), Lucas (Brendan Robinson) and more."

In early June, Variety reported that Noel Khan, played by Brant Daugherty, will return for season seven.

According to a new report from Deadline, Nicholas Gonzales has joined the cast as Vic Furey, a new detective on the Rosewood crime scene.

Collins also revealed to us that there's no slowing down for the series. "I think we're going to have really heightened stakes, across the board. I think it's going to be just, like, the highest stakes that we've ever had on the show."

Turns out, Dr. Rollins isn't British just for the fun of it. Collins admitted, "I think it is involved in the overall mystery. . . . I think you will find out how it's relevant and why it's relevant."

Joseph Dougherty, who writes for the show, tweeted that he's already back at the grind for the next season.

Collins explained, "I think that revenge is a motivating factor for Rollins and Mary. I think that could be a fair thing to deduce from the finale. I don't think that the lengths they've gone to could have been reached without there being more to it than money as the motivation. . . . You're going to see, hopefully, the bones of why this plot came about and why they have gone to such lengths and how that impacts them going forward."

According to Entertainment Weekly, Parker — who now plays Mary Drake, the evil twin sister of Jessica DiLaurentis — has been named as a series regular going forward. Looks like Mary Drake isn't going anywhere anytime soon.

Did Dr. Rollins meet Charlotte when she began treatment, or does their connection run deeper? Collins weighed in, saying, "I can't clarify one way or the other. But, what I will say is . . . I think the backstory will become explicit. And I would say that assumption in Rosewood is definitely something that shouldn't be done lightly."

While there hasn't been any confirmation, every single season of PLL has premiered in June, so it's pretty safe to assume it'll be the same for season seven's Summer premiere. It's just a few months away!
