Is Ruby Rose in Orange Is the New Black Season 4 or What?

Despite all that we knew about Orange Is the New Black's fourth season, one giant question remained up until its release: was Ruby Rose coming back as Stella Carlin? Everyone seemed obsessed with the Australian bombshell's guest role during season three, but there was approximately zero news about whether Rose will come back for more episodes. Stella doesn't appear in the trailers or pictures for the new season, so I launched a very important investigation. Now that season four is out (and I've conveniently watched every minute of it), I have a definitive answer, which is at the bottom. But before you get to that, here's all the evidence that pointed in one direction or the other over the past year.

Exhibit A: Our Interview With Her in July 2015

Last year, we point-blank asked Rose if Stella would return for the fourth season. "As it stands right now, it could go either way," she told us. "But as you probably know . . . they're currently filming in New York, and I'm definitely not in New York at this exact second, so we'll see. It could go either way."

Exhibit B: She Retweeted the Season 4 Trailer in January

Sure, she could just be supporting the show she was once a part of, but is that where the story ends? Is it?

Exhibit C: She Also Tweeted This

The Instagram has since been deleted, but she is clearly very excited about the new season.

Exhibit D: She Refers to the Cast as Her "Family"

Of course, the Orange Is the New Black cast is a giant family . . . but is Rose still a part of it?

Exhibit E: This Response to a Hater

"I'm soooo happy you're not apart of OITNB anymore," wrote The Hater. "Your character was dumpster, trash, garbage. Focus on DJing 🍌🍌🍌" Let's put aside the fact that this person is terribly rude for a second and focus on the fact that she is saying that she's glad Ruby Rose won't be back for another season — or at least, I think that's what she means. Rose bites back (you go, girl), but she doesn't correct her by saying she will return. Hmm . . .

Exhibit F: She Has a Lot of Other Stuff Going On

Not only does Rose legitimately have a DJ career, but she's also making a transition to the big screen. She's has parts in 2017's Resident Evil: The Final Chapter, xXx: The Return of Xander Cage, and John Wick: Chapter Two. Unfortunately, that means that there's a chance her filming schedules may have interfered with her ability to star as Stella again.

Exhibit G: Her IMDB Page

IMDb could be wrong, but as of today, Rose is only listed as appearing in eight episodes of the show in 2015.

So, Is She on It or Not?

You ready? The answer is YES. Rose reprises her character in the sixth episode, "Piece of Sh*t." Way to play it cool, girl.
