It pivots off the scene from the finale when Barry travels back in time to save his mother and creates an alternate timeline where his life is very different. "We're definitely doing this FP thing our own way," Gustin later wrote on Twitter. "I've read Flashpoint, I've seen the amazing animated film. This will be its own thing."
