Captain Marvel: 3 Familiar Faces Are Joining Brie Larson's Superhero Film

The team behind 2006's Half-Nelson and 2015's Mississippi Grind, Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck, have signed on as directors of Captain Marvel. Nicole Perlman and Meg LeFauve were originally in charge of handling the screenplay, which follows Danvers after a fusion of alien and human genes gives her superhuman powers, but now Tomb Raider screenwriter Geneva Robertson-Dworet has come on board to replace them (LeFauve is now writing and directing Disney's upcoming animated film Gigantic).
