23 Beloved Shows We Said Goodbye to in 2017
While it would be lovely if all our favorite shows lasted until the end of time (just kidding, remember the last season of Lost?), all good things must come to an end. Red Oaks
Amazon ordered a third and final season from its '80s-set comedy.
Girls
HBO announced right before the season five premiere of Girls that the show would end after its sixth season. The final season premiered on Feb. 12, and the series finale aired on April 16.
Teen Wolf
The cast of Teen Wolf announced during their Comic-Con panel that the show will end after the current sixth season, the second half of which aired this Summer.
Switched at Birth
In March, Switched at Birth creator Lizzy Weiss announced that the show would end after its current fifth season.
Bates Motel
The cast of Bates Motel broke news to fans during Comic-Con that the fifth season would be the last for the spooky A&E series. Rihanna appeared as the iconic character Marion Crane on the final season, which concluded on April 24.
Grimm
Last year, NBC confirmed that Grimm will end after season six. The series finale aired March 31.
Pretty Little Liars
Freeform's megahit came to an end! The second half of the seventh and final season kicked off on April 18.
The Vampire Diaries
During Comic-Con, creator Julie Plec tearfully told fans that The Vampire Diaries would end after season eight. The series finale aired on March 10.
The Strain
FX renewed The Strain for a fourth and final season.
