The last season of Grey's Anatomy saw the departure of Dr. Callie Torres, played by Sara Ramirez. Callie goes through a lot on the show, from marrying and divorcing George to realizing she's bisexual to getting pregnant by Mark Sloan. She has definitely had her fair share of drama. Callie is also, by far, one of the best characters on Grey's, and while she may be gone, she will never be forgotten. Here we remember all of the great things about Dr. Callie Torres.

Her Strength
Callie manages to push through the whole Izzie and George debacle with grace and dignity, and she still had time to stand up for her patients.

Her Singing Voice
We already mentioned her emotional strength, but Callie also survives a horrific car crash in the musical episode. No matter what your thoughts are on the musical, you can't deny that she has a great voice.

Her Realness
Callie is always super grounded and manages to keep it real, even in the midst of drama.

Her Hopeful Attitude
Until Arizona, Callie doesn't have the easiest time when it comes to love and relationships. However, that doesn't stop her from keeping an open mind and an open heart.

Her Pride
When Callie realizes she is bisexual, she is scared at first but soon embraces her authentic self and becomes a role model for us all. She is out and proud, and it is glorious.

Her Grit
Callie never takes crap from anyone, including her own ignorant family. She always stands up for what she believes in.

Callie is an absolute boss. As head of orthopedics, she works hard, cares for her patients, and, again, doesn't take any crap.
