15 Suspects For the Killer on Scream Queens Season 2

Season two of Scream Queens is underway and off to a killer start. The setting has changed and there are additional characters, but as promised, there's still a murderer on the loose. The season premiere set up another crime-filled flashback in which a doctor (allegedly) kills an ailing patient so he can keep partying on Halloween. Flash-forward to today and Zayday and the Chanels are now working at former-Dean Munsch's hospital. Three episodes in and there have been several grisly murders. Here are the top suspects!

Dr. Mike
Why he might be the killer:
- Let's begin with the obvious: Dr. Mike kills someone in the very first episode, so we already know he's capable of diabolical things.
Why he might not be the killer:
- Dr. Mike is motivated by not wanting to work on Halloween, a weak excuse, but an excuse nonetheless. What motive would he have for returning to the hospital to go on a rampage? Also, he's supposedly dead.

Nurse Thomas
Why she might be the killer:
- While she opposes Dr. Mike's crime in the premiere, she does go along with it. Perhaps she returns to the hospital where she used to work to scare off the new staff for taking her old job?
Why she might not be the killer:
- She simply doesn't seem like the type to murder someone who's just trying to take a nice soak. She's not big enough to be the Green Meanie, and she's also supposedly dead.

Bill
Why he might be the killer:
- We don't actually see Bill die in the swamp, which is a classic setup for him to return later. If he survives, he knows what Dr. Mike and Nurse Thomas did to him, and he could be back at the hospital for revenge.
Why he might not be the killer:
- He could actually be dead.

Jane
Why she might be the killer:
- Of all the characters, she has the strongest motive to wreck havoc on the hospital. We don't yet know how the rest of Halloween '85 plays out, but I can guarantee she won't be happy about her husband's disappearance.
Why she might not be the killer:
- Why would she wait 31 years to carry our her plan? And why would she wait until the hospital is under new management? It doesn't quite add up.

The Baby
Why he/she might be the killer:
- It doesn't make sense for Jane to come back after 31 years, but it makes perfect sense for the now-grown baby. It's possible that her baby, jaded with the knowledge of his or her dad's death, is back.
Why he/she might not be the killer:
- The plot would be way too similar to the first season. There's no way another grown baby (or set of twins) would be the killer, right? The baby is also the prime suspect on the show now, which makes me think it won't be him/her.

Dr. Brock Holt
Why he might be the killer:
- Aside from being generally suspicious, Dr. Brock has that strange cut on his hand from when he had a new one surgically attached. He supposedly lived through everyone's worst nightmare when his hand got eaten by the garbage disposal, but we can't know for sure if that's what happened. We already know it's an Idle Hands-type situation, where his new hand is possessed and bloodthirsty.
Why he might not be the killer:
- We don't have a real motive for Dr. Brock yet. We know that he's trying to prove that he can still be a top surgeon despite his haunted hand, but that's not reason enough to go on a killing spree.

Dr. Cassidy Cascade
Why he might be the killer:
- There's a strange moment in the premiere when Zayday touches Dr. Cassidy and he's freezing. He says he just runs cold, but now we know that he's literally dead. Whether or not he's a killer, though, is TBD.
Why he might not be the killer:
- We don't know too much about Dr. Cassidy, but he seems like kind of a dummy. He also seems more interested in dating Chanel #3 than killing people.

Chamberlain Jackson
Why he might be the killer:
- The hospital's resident candy-striper is weird. Like, really weird. Just look at that evil grin! The way he mercilessly (and possibly unknowingly) makes fun of Katherine's hairy condition is just cruel.
Why he might not be the killer:
- He got slashed by the Green Meanie, so if he's in on it, it means at least two people are killers. We're still waiting to hear more about this guy. He certainly has a backstory, we just don't know what it is yet.

Chanel Oberlin
Why she might be the killer:
- Now that she's perceived as an awful person by the general public, Chanel has decided to embrace her inner bad girl and murder a bunch of people. She also loves blood.
Why she might not be the killer:
- In all likelihood, she's not the killer. Chanel may be a jerk, but if she were a killer, she probably would have been the Red Devil in season one.

Chanel #3
Why she might be the killer:
- You never can tell what Chanel #3 is thinking, can you?
Why she might not be the killer:
- She's probably not thinking about killing people.

Chanel #5
Why she might be the killer:
- She could be fed up with everyone's digs about her. Maybe she's finally snapped!
Why she might not be the killer:
- She's in the tub alongside the now-deceased Katherine in the premiere. While I doubt that the killer targets her next (as the cliffhanger would have us believe), it's doubtful she's in cahoots with the killer at this point.

Zayday Williams
Why she might be the killer:
- Zayday is frustrated with the state of affairs at former-Dean Munsch's hospital, so maybe this is her way of getting Munsch ousted so she can take over.
Why she might not be the killer:
- Let's get real; it's not Zayday. She's the only source of light and purity on this whole show.

Cathy Munsch
Why she might be the killer:
- Munsch is full of surprises, and maybe she has a secret desire to kill that we haven't yet seen from her.
Why she might not be the killer:
- Why would she destroy people in her own hospital? It's going to be a PR nightmare.

Hester Ulrich
Why she might be the killer:
- Well, she does murder all the people on season one.
