In the distant future, Brazil is divided into two regions: the Inland and the Offshore. The Inland is where a majority of the population lives, though it is wreaked with devastation and poverty. The Offshore, on the other hand, is a lush, wealthy paradise where almost anything is possible. Every year, each 20-year-old citizen has the opportunity to relocate to the Offshore by taking a test called The Process. Dystopian thriller 3% follows Michele Santana (Bianca Comparato) as she navigates the tricky waters of The Process with strangers who are willing to do whatever it takes to survive and make it out on the other side. However, what they don't know is that Michele has a secret agenda.
