8 Hulu Original Shows That Are Worth Watching

Everyone knows that Netflix makes incredibly binge-worthy shows. Amazon, too, produces solid content — Billy Bob Thornton even brought home a Golden Globe for original series Goliath. While first just a site to stream your favorite network shows, Hulu has thrown its hat into the ring and is creating some fantastic original content. Its lineup includes comedies, dramas, documentaries, mockumentaries, reality, and more. That's not to forget some of its future shows, such as The Handmaid's Tale and Marvel's Runaways, both of which are getting a lot of buzz. Before they premiere, check out a list of all of the current Hulu original shows you should binge.

Amy Poehler serves as the executive producer on the comedy series Difficult People, which revolves around best friends Julie (Julie Klausner) and Billy (Billy Eichner). The two aspire to be famous comedians, but one thing always gets in the way: their personalities. Jaded and judgmental, they hate most celebrities and all strangers. The only people they seem to like are each other. Martin Short, Kate McKinnon, Amy Sedaris, Seth Meyers, Kathie Lee Gifford, Tina Fey, John Mulaney, Nathan Lane, and Lin-Manuel Miranda are just a few of the stars to be guests on the show. Gabourey Sidibe and Fred Armisen are also featured as recurring characters.

However, as he prolongs his stay, he becomes more unwilling to give up the life and relationships that he's built for himself, conflicting with his goals and inevitable return to the present.

She confides in Cal Roberts (Hugh Dancy), the unofficial leader of the Meyerists, as their founder is mysteriously ill.

Each with their own agenda, they begin to clash with each other and the rest of the Meyerist community. However, when the FBI begins to monitor the Meyerists (who have dangerously begun to display cult tendencies), they discover that one wrong move can make the walls around them come crashing down.
