The X-Files star Gillian Anderson, is a seasoned activist, supporting organizations such as PETA, Greenpeace, Survival International, Childreach International, Feminist Majority Foundation, The Trevor Project, and more. She's not afraid to roll up her sleeves, get down to the nitty gritty, and fight at the front line — in fact, she prefers it! When she wasn't doing aid work around the globe or founding a charity of her own, Anderson found time to write about something important to her: the fulfillment of women. She partnered with journalist and activist Jennifer Nadel to create We: A Manifesto for Women Everywhere, a personal manifesto that inspires and empowers women everywhere to expel society's expectations and notions of "having it all," and instead focus on supporting each other to achieve our own, individual happiness in whatever way, shape, or form that may take.
