Spencer and Alex (Diego Boneta) have a really cute relationship in season one. He works at her country club and they bond over their mutual love of tennis. However, his blue-collar status puts a strain on their relationship and "A" takes full advantage of it, ultimately breaking them up.

When Spencer first falls for the mysterious Toby in season one, we were skeptical. After all, he had done time in prison! Little did we know that he actually has a heart of gold and is the perfect calming balance to Spencer's high-strung persona. Their relationship has had numerous ups and downs and they're currently broken up, but we're still keeping our fingers crossed for #Spoby.

Ian is scum, but Spencer doesn't care. She just wants everything Melissa has, including her future brother-in-law. They try to brush their fling under the rug, but "A" isn't having it. Ian tries to take matters into his own hands — along with Spencer's neck — when he attempts to kill her! Luckily, after a shove down the bell tower, Ian is no longer a problem.

Johnny is an artist who, in need of a temporary living situation, rents out the Hastings' barn. Spencer is immediately attracted to his artistic allure and the two begin a sexy fling. Sadly, it's short-lived; Johnny is arrested for stealing his own work out of a museum, and Mrs. Hastings isn't going to continue housing a criminal. Bye, Johnny!

The post-five-year-jump includes numerous changes, such as the introduction of #Spaleb. We'll admit, their relationship is pretty darn sexy! However, dating your best friend's serious ex? We aren't so sure about that. Clearly, neither is Caleb, since he admitted he still has feelings for Hanna.

Dean is a drug and alcohol counselor hired by Spencer's parents after her release from Radley in season four. Their flirtation is innocent enough, but Dean is fired when Mrs. Hastings finds them asleep together on the couch. He returns two seasons later and is much more vocal about his feelings for Spencer. However, not wanting to hurt Toby, she thwarts his advances.

Before the Liars suspected Andrew of being the secret DiLaurentis responsible for their time in the Dollhouse, he was just Spencer's hot study buddy. The two even play a game of strip-study. Is that a thing? Only in Rosewood, apparently!

Dating one of Melissa's beaus clearly isn't enough for Spencer, because she quickly finds herself attached to her sister's fiancé, Wren. The two do some pretty serious flirting — including half-naked massages — before Melissa finds them kissing and ends her engagement. Whenever Wren pops up in later seasons, he and Spencer wind up making out in some poorly lit corner. Like every other character in the show, Wren is suspected of being A, putting an end to #Wrencer.

Colin is Wren and Melissa's flatmate in London. Yep, that's right. Even after Spencer broke up their engagement, Melissa and Wren give it another go (which ultimately failed). Anyway, Spencer is in London visiting schools when she encounters Colin. The accent and close quarters are too much to resist and the two share a memorable kiss before she flies back to the States.

During the five years that Aria is away from Rosewood, she finds time to hook up with Ali's brother, Jason. Things seem to be pretty serious, since he asks her to come with him on a philanthropy trip to Ethiopia. She turns him down and goes to work at Ezra's publishing house instead.

Fresh from her first breakup with Ezra, Aria gets set up on a date with the ever-delicious (now-deceased) Noel. When he starts to realize that she may just be using him to make Ezra jealous, things go south. The best thing to come out of their short-lived relationship is their couple name: #Ariel.

When the show flashes forward five years, Aria is paired with Liam. An editor at the publishing house she works at, the two are pretty serious. However, after seeing the chemistry between Aria and Ezra while they work on writing their book, Liam gets (reasonably) jealous. It doesn't take long after that for things to go downhill.

Looking to brush up on her self-defense skills, Aria enlists karate instructor, Jake, to help her out. What starts out as private lessons quickly turn into . . . "private lessons." Their relationship is full steam ahead, until Aria's feelings for Ezra ultimately get in the way, yet again.

Does everyone in Rosewood use Andrew as a "study buddy"? Aria and Andrew start off as study partners but quickly become more than friends. Their relationship is actually pretty sweet, until Aria becomes convinced that Andrew is the secret DiLaurentis who kidnaps her and locks her up in the Dollhouse for a month. Poor Andrew!

No matter what anyone says, #Ezria is the one true pairing of Pretty Little Liars. Their forbidden love from their teacher/student days blossoms for seven seasons. Sure, there are some ups and downs and lots of nasty secrets. Their current engagement, however, just proves that love can conquer all!

Riley (Nick Roux) is a guy who Aria has a one-night stand with while she's away on a college tour. They bond over their recent troubles and actually seem to have a pretty real connection. Ultimately, however, he's just a (really hot!) rebound.

Aria and Holden are childhood friends who reconnect once he moves back to town. Holden pretends to be Aria's boyfriend so that she can continue her secret relationship with Ezra. What a champ!

Aria makes out with Ezra's brother, Wesley. His brother! What more is there to say? We guess we would find Gregg Sulkin irresistible too? Still . . . not cool.

When Caleb is first introduced, he's essentially a runaway who Hanna takes in. While sharing a roof, the two developed a trust and bond that grows into a ride-or-die kind of relationship. The two break up and get back together numerous times but are always there for each other no matter what. We're keeping our fingers crossed for #Haleb in the final episodes!

We get that the British accent is sexy, but does everyone on this show have to hook up with Wren? Hanna and Wren have an unexpected friendship in season four that quickly escalates to flirtation. The two share a kiss and want to share more, but Hanna ends things before they can get started, fearing that it will affect her relationship with Spencer.

Travis inserts himself into Hanna's life when he finds proof that her mother didn't kill Detective Wilden. Grateful, Hanna accepts a date with him and things move on from there. Travis is a gem, but sadly, the timing just isn't right. With a personal identity crisis and lingering feelings for Caleb, Hanna ends things.

Detective Gabriel Holbrook arrives at Rosewood to investigate Detective Wilden's murder. He and Hanna strike up a very unlikely friendship and subsequent flirtation. Yet, when she makes a move, he pulls back and suggests that they just be friends. Can't blame a girl for trying!

In season four, "A" gets Hanna to admit that she had a very brief fling with Aria's brother, Mike. Apparently, this happens before Alison goes missing, so viewers never get to see their hookup. However, seeing how hot Mike grew up to be, we're sure Hanna isn't regretting her decision so much anymore.

After the flash-forward, Hanna is engaged to super sexy Australian Jordan. He worships the ground she walks on and is totally in love with her. The only problem is that he's not Caleb. It's hard to watch her break his heart, but we volunteer to pick up the pieces!

Honorable mention: Hanna and Lucas! Lucas has the biggest crush on Hanna in high school. He goes rogue and joins the A team for a hot second, but he always looks out for Hanna and she always stands up for him. He even lets her stay in his high-tech loft and offers to help her get her fashion business off the ground. We wouldn't be upset if something happened between the two.

Sean is Hanna's first boyfriend, introduced at the beginning of season one. Though they appear to be a perfect blond pair, their relationship has its issues. Mostly, Hanna wants to get frisky and Sean wants to wait until marriage. Awkward!

Ben is Emily's high school boyfriend at the beginning of season one. She questions her sexuality while they're together and tries to force her feelings for him. Ben uses force in a different way, attempting to sexually assault Emily. Fortunately, Toby comes to the rescue and we never see Ben again.

From flashbacks, it's clear that Alison is the first girl who Emily ever has feelings for. They share a few kisses throughout the series, before ultimately sleeping together in season five. The two never really form a relationship, instead always remaining good friends who have each other's backs. However, there's still hope that #Emison will be the endgame during the final season.

Emily and Lyndon arguably have the most complicated and twisted flirtation in PLL history. He introduces himself to Emily as Maya's cousin; they begin a friendship, but Lyndon makes it clear that he wants more. In the end, Emily kills Lyndon in self-defense when she realizes that he's actually a stalker who had killed Maya. Like we said, complicated!

Maya is the girl next door who steals Emily's heart. It's the first serious relationship Emily ever has with a girl, and though it has its ups and downs, it probably could've lasted a long time if Maya's life hadn't been cut short. #rip

Emily and Paige have a very rocky start when they first get together. (Remember when Paige tries to drown Emily?) Yet, when all is said and done, #Paily is one of the strongest and longest relationships in PLL history. Were it not for distance, who knows where these two crazy kids could end up?

Sabrina is a woman who works at The Brew. She's there for Emily in her time of need, but Emily inadvertently betrays her trust when doing a favor for Aria. The two seem to have patched things up and are trying to give it another go, but we'll have to wait until the series returns to find out their fate.

Emily meets Samara at an LGBTQ pride group, while she is trying to help Paige understand her sexuality. The two strike up a relationship until Emily gets caught in a lie and Samara breaks things off.

Sara is the other girl in the Dollhouse who just pretends to have been kidnapped. When she's "rescued," she shacks up with Emily and the two get together. Emily even asks her to prom! Obviously, when Emily learns the truth, their relationship is as good as dead. Speaking of dead, Sara gets what she deserves in season seven.

Talia is another woman at The Brew who catches Emily's eye. The two are pretty flirty and even share some steamy kisses. However, Emily breaks things off when she finds out that her sexy chef is married! Talia tells her husband that Emily is just an experiment. Ouch!

Elliot, aka the late Archer Dunhill, is Alison's husband-turned-psycho. He marries her in a twisted scheme to find out who killed Charlotte, his patient and real love of his life. He drugs Alison, locks her away in a mental hospital, and is going to kill her before her friends save the day.

For what seems like forever, the Liars try to discover the identity of "Board Shorts," a fling of Alison's. Later, it's revealed that Board Shorts Ale is a favorite beer of Ezra's and that the two have a brief fling the Summer before Alison goes missing. However, Ezra breaks it off when he finds out that Ali was underage.

Spencer isn't the first younger girl who Ian dates in secret. While in a relationship with Melissa, Ian has a secret affair with a 14-year-old Alison. Things end pretty badly between the two, and then she goes missing. Years later, Alison is responsible for pushing Ian down the bell tower to stop him from killing Spencer.

Lorenzo is one of the police officers investigating the girls' kidnapping and imprisonment in the Dollhouse. After all the people who Alison toys with and hooks up with over the years, he is her first serious boyfriend. Sadly, he catches Ali stealing his police key card and breaks up with her, assuming she had been just using him for information.
