Get Into the Holiday Spirit With the First Festive Look at A Christmas Story Live!

Following the wild success of Grease Live! last year, Fox is centering its next live musical around the holidays. During the Television Critics Association's Summer press tour, the network announced that it will be adapting 1983's A Christmas Story for its upcoming telecast. The team for the movie-turned-Broadway musical is quickly coming together, and we already have high expectations. Saturday Night Live alum Maya Rudolph and Chris Diamantopoulos (Waitress) will play Ralphie's mom and dad. Matthew Broderick will also be playing the narrator, who is the adult version of Ralphie, alongside Jane Krakowski as Ralphie's school teacher and Ana Gasteyer as the family's next-door neighbor, Mrs. Schwartz.

Who Is Playing Ralphie?

Newcomer Andy Walken, 11, will be starring as Ralphie after beating out over 350 other kids during the audition process.
