At the center of it all is the Bridgerton family, a wealthy family in the glamorous "ton" of Regency-era British society. The first season centers on eldest daughter Daphne, as her fake dating arrangement with charming duke Simon turns into real love. Season two shifts the focus to her eldest brother, Anthony, head of the family since his father's death and now on the search for a wife himself — with results that surprise him and everyone else.
