After That Finale, Bachelor Nation Can Agree on 1 Thing: "Arie Is a Wanker"

The Bachelor's latest season ended not so much with a bang but with an explosion inside a dumpster filled with flaming garbage. At least, that's how the majority of Bachelor Nation feels after enduring a dramatic two-night finale that involved Arie Luyendyk Jr. proposing to Becca Kufrin, only to turn around and brutally surprise-dump her on camera before leaving her for his season's runner-up, Lauren Burnham. See what I mean about the dumpster fire?

As if Arie hadn't dug himself deep enough of a hole, his appearance on the After the Final Rose special had fans even further up in arms. After humiliating and blind siding Becca during the now-infamous "unedited" dumping sequence, he decided to propose to Lauren on live TV during the show while his ex-fiancée, Becca, was backstage. It was such a savage move that many former contestants spoke out against Arie (especially Bekah Martinez, bless her).

Fortunately, there was a silver lining: Becca is the next Bachelorette! Following the exciting announcement, the first five men who will compete for her heart popped up on stage, with one of them astutely declaring that "Arie is a wanker." Some particularly vocal members of Bachelor Nation couldn't help but agree, and their tweets are almost enough to make me forget that whole finale mess ever even happened.
