Arie's Ex Predicted The Bachelor Would End This Way in a Shocking and Spot-On Old Tweet

Can someone get this girl a crystal ball, because I'd like to ask her a few questions about my future.

Bachelor Nation, we'd like you to meet Sydney Stempfley β€” she was dating Arie Luyundyk Jr. before being "blindsided" by the announcement that he was the next person looking for love on The Bachelor. On Sept. 7, 2017, it was announced that the 36-year-old race car driver would return to the franchise to find his soulmate, but just four days prior, Sydney made a hilarious prediction that proves no one really knows you like your ex!

After former Bachelor Sean Lowe tweeted his suggestion of making Arie the next Bachelor, Sydney wrote back that it would be a great idea, but his indecisiveness could get in the way. Boy was she right.

The show would be perfect for @ariejr up until it comes to choosing just one πŸ˜‚

What might have been a joke at the time was actually a spot-on prediction of how the sh*tshow that was season 22 actually ended. After getting down on one knee and proposing to Becca Kurfin, the "wanker" started having regrets and ultimately broke up with Becca to reunite with runner-up Lauren Burnham. As of Tuesday night's After the Final Rose episode, not only did Arie and Lauren get engaged, but in more exciting news, Becca was announced as the next Bachelorette.

We've got to hand it to Sydney, though: she clearly knows Arie well. If only Becca saw her tweet before Arie got carried away with his L-bombs. Read on to see tweets from people who are just as shook as we are over Sydney's prediction.

Yes, Sydney, you most definitely did!
