The 2000s really were the prime era for the trend of turning classic literature into teen comedies, and "She's the Man" is one in a long line of those. Shakespeare's gender-bending comedy "Twelfth Night" crosses with the world of teenage soccer teams in this quirky Amanda Bynes comedy. Viola, a confident soccer player frustrated over her girls' team getting put on the back burner to the boys', decides to pose as her twin brother, Sebastian, at his boarding school for the chance to prove girls can outplay boys. Once there, she not only has to adjust to life pretending to be a teenage boy, but she also has to deal with messy personal problems. To start with, Viola develops a crush on her soccer teammate (who thinks she's a boy), but a girl develops a crush on "Sebastian," too.
