If you thought regular high school social rules were bad, try being a teenager thrust into the world of high society, balls, and aristocrats! Before leaving for college, American teen Daphne runs off to England to track down the father she never knew. It turns out her father is a literal British lord who is running for prime minister and never even knew he had a daughter. Although her father tries to bond with her, Daphne struggles to fit in, especially with her father's vicious and snobby fiancée and soon-to-be-stepsister. As Daphne tries to learn more about her family and not embarrass her father, she winds up bringing a breath of fresh air to some stuffy traditions, which delights some and angers others.
