The Good Doctor Is Undergoing a Few Big Changes in Season 2

Freddie Highmore Will Write and Direct This Season

On top of being a star and producer on The Good Doctor, Highmore is now a writer for the series. During the Chasing Emmy podcast, he added that Shore "has taken me under his wing and let me write an episode this second season and direct one, too." The Good Doctor revealed on Twitter that Highmore has written the season two premiere, which is titled "Hello."
