The American Horror Story: Coven Cast Is Officially Back in Black For Apocalypse

Ryan Murphy shared a shot of the American Horror Story: Coven cast on the set of the show's upcoming eighth season and, as the saying goes, "Surprise, b*tch." The long-awaited crossover season, Apocalypse, will bring back many familiar faces from seasons prior, including Sarah Paulson, Emma Roberts, Gabourey Sidibe, and even Stevie Nicks. Alongside his photo of the cast reunion, the show's co-creator wrote, "The Coven Returns. What a thrilling night with the legend Stevie Nicks on the set of AHS."

There were, however, a few members of the coven missing, namely Nan (Jamie Brewer) and Fiona Goode (Jessica Lange). Though Nan is sacrificed during the season, several of the other characters pictured didn't make it out of the third season either. As for Fiona, it's been confirmed that Lange will be returning for the eighth season, however, Sarah Paulson revealed she will be reviving her Murder House character, Constance Langdon.

Though there are clearly still a few logistics of the whole crossover setup that will need to be sorted out, we'll have some answers once American Horror Story returns on Sept. 12.
