22 New TV Shows Everyone Will Be Talking About This September

Since one new medical drama is never enough, NBC is also premiering its own new show, following Dr. Max Goodwin as he becomes the medical director of one of the country's oldest public hospitals while also battling cancer. The series is based on Dr. Eric Manheimer's Twelve Patients: Life and Death at Bellevue Hospital, which documents his experience as former medical director at New York City's Bellevue Hospital.
