Jimmy Kimmel Gets a Marvel-ous Surprise Visit by a Fully Suited-Up Spider-Man

Jimmy Kimmel Live's Brooklyn Week got a surprise visit from New York's own friendly neighborhood Spider-Man. Tom Holland, who recently wrapped up filming Spider-Man: Far From Home in the city, surprised the show's audience by showing up in a brand new Spidey suit from the movie. According to the sketch, the MCU's resident webhead was waiting for the B38 bus when Guillermo stole his mask right off his head! Apparently his spidey-sense doesn't work when the thief isn't actually that threatening.

After Guillermo safely returns the mask to its rightful owner — with a little tequila surprise — Holland makes sure to remind the audience that Spider-Man: Far From Home will open in theaters on July 5, 2019. The actor seems to have learned his lesson when it comes to accidentally revealing MCU-related spoilers, because when Kimmel asked how Far From Home fits in the MCU after those devastating events from Avengers: Infinity War, he parkour-ed right off the stage.

Far From Home will deal with the fallout from Thanos's destruction and take Peter Parker out of New York to other locales all over the world. Along with the returning cast from Spider-Man: Homecoming, the sequel also stars Jake Gyllenhaal as the classic Spider-Man supervillain, Mysterio. Keep reading for the very enthusiastic response from fans who are obviously eager for Spidey to return to the big screen ASAP.
