This Is Us's Third Season Has Been PACKED With Guest Stars — Let's Count 'Em

The cast of This Is Us is ever-expanding, and you never know who is going to become an important part of the Pearson's lives. In season two, Deja was introduced as a young girl that Randall and Beth were fostering, but now she's a permanent member of their family. Season three is just getting started, but it's already delivering the same level of major guest stars. So far the This Is Us season three guest star lineup includes Jack's brother, a political rival for Randall, and the one and only Mario Lopez.

As the Pearson family continues to explore Jack's past and move forward with their personal journeys now and in the future timeline, there's no telling how many more characters they'll meet along the way. This Is Us weaves a tapestry of one family's life that spans decades, and it's one that relies heavily on how unexpected encounters can change the course of someone's story. Some of the guest stars on this list appeared only once, while others have become fan favorites, but the one thing that they all have in common is that they've touched the Pearsons' lives in a special way.

Rafael Cabrera

In the season premiere, Rafael Cabrera appeared as real-life Pittsburgh Steelers player Franco Harris. It's unclear whether we'll see him again, but his Hail Mary pass happens on the night that Jack and Rebecca meet.

Despite his character's death in season one, This Is US keeps finding ways to continue William's story with guest appearances by the great Ron Cephas Jones.

Michael Angarano

Michael Angarano is perhaps the most pivotal guest star of season three so far. The I'm Dying Up Here actor is playing Jack's little brother, Nicky Pearson.

Yetide Badaki

Best known for her role in American Gods, Yetide Badaki is playing Chichi, William's neighbor and Randall's new friend.

Peter Onorati

It's clear that we're just starting to scratch the surface of Jack's childhood life, and Peter Onorati's Stanley Pearson is a key to understanding both Jack and Nicky. The season three episode "Vietnam" revealed that Stanley wasn't always an abusive father and husband, which suggests fans will be seeing more of the character in the future.

Laura Niemi

Laura Niemi stars as Jack and Nicky's mother, Marilyn Pearson.

Michael Ironside

Michael Ironside has been in everything from Total Recall to ER. Now he's taking on the rokle of Jack's grandfather, who is simply known as Mr. Pearson so far.

Mudbound star Rob Morgan is appearing as Councilman Brown, a Philadelphia representative that Randall is planning on running against.

Hunter Parrish

Porter Duong

According to IMDb, Porter Duong's character is named Hien. She first appeared in "Vietnam" as the mother of a young boy who tries to give Jack a fish. Eagle-eyed fans realized she's wearing the necklace that Jack will one day pass down to Kevin.

Iantha Richardson

Once again, Iantha Richardson returned as adult Tess in the season-premiere flash-forward.

Natalie Morales

Now that Kevin is officially a big movie star, he's doing his share of interviews, including one with Today's Natalie Morales.

Mario Lopez

Speaking of interviews, Kevin's interview with Mario Lopez on the red carpet of his film premiere was a total lovefest.
