10 Juicy Details We've Conjured About Chilling Adventures of Sabrina Season 2

We've already caught a glimpse of what's to come thanks to this exciting teaser trailer. It looks like Sabrina is really embracing the magical realm now that Harvey and her mortal friends have taken a small step away. We're ready for the "edgy" new Sabrina.

The second part, like the first, was set at 10 episodes, but it seems the special holiday episode is being counted as one of those 10. So, we've got nine more coming to us when the new season kicks off.

Oh, and while we're on the subject, it seems like there's a lot of confusion over what season this is. Apparently, "part two" is actually an extension of season one, and parts three and four technically make up season two. OK, sure.

In part one, Sabrina is very unsure about her witch-hood. She refuses to sign the Book of the Beast and only enrolls in the Academy of Unseen Arts as a part-time student. According to E! Online, this might flip in the new episodes; Sabrina will embrace her magical roots and spend less time in the mortal world.

Speaking of the mortal world, it's sounding like Roz and Susie won't be totally out of Sabrina's life, and might even warm up to the magical realm . . . eventually. (I mean Susie has the witches to thank for rescuing her during the Winter Solstice, but I digress.) Lachlan Watson, who plays Susie, told E! Online that more magic will makes its way into the mortal world and will "make it go straight out into crazytown." She also said "things get a little out of control," so buckle up.

Creator and showrunner Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa has confessed that he's very torn about Harvey and Sabrina. I love Sabrina and Harvey together but I'm really intrigued by Nick and Sabrina being together," he said. "I really like that they're so different. I hope that Harvey and Sabrina have a chance. I mean they're definitely end game in the comics. Yeah, their story is not quite done, I wouldn't say." OK, so it sounds like we shouldn't bank on immediate reconciliation, but it's not totally out of the question, either.

With Harvey out of the picture, it seems like the prime time for Sabrina and Nick to be a thing. In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Aguirre-Sacasa teased a possible romance, saying, "I think that with these kinds of TV shows or shows for young people, it never hurts to have a love triangle. It never hurts. That's what I'll say about that." I see your game, sir. I see it.

Let me begin by saying this is a vague rumor from a source whose reliability has not been confirmed, but it seems the Dark Lord himself might make an appearance in the coming release. According to The Hashtag Show (What did I tell you?), rumor has it casting is underway for the Dark Lord, and he'll go by the name "Lucifer Morningstar." Do with that what you will. But I mean, it would make sense for the Dark Lord to show up. Sabrina has signed the Book of the Beast, which very much so means she's beholden to her promises. Very ominous, indeed.

As you might recall, there was a warlock murder early on in the first collection of episodes. There were murmurs of witch hunters around town, and that's also how Ambrose met his bae, Luke. According to E! Online, we may not be through with this unsolved mystery. "We have not finished that story," Aguirre-Sacasa said. "It's not quite like 'who killed Jason Blossom,' but it is a mystery that twists and turns a little bit, yes." OK, work!

Aguirre-Sacasa also teased that the new season is "a little more fun" and "a little sexier . . . Now that we know everyone and we've really established the world, we can play in it a little more rather than build it. It feels a little more ambitious and rollicking than part one." Does that mean we'll have more random witch orgies in the new season? Because we're here for that.

And last but not least, the release! The new season will drop on April 5, 2019. Yeah, way sooner than you thought, right?!
