On My Block deals with tough and sensitive issues, but in a far more lighthearted way. While Euphoria tells the story of self-destructive, insecure teens, this series tackles what it's like to grow up in a violent neighborhood where you always have to look over your shoulder. On My Block follows a group of childhood friends as they enter high school. The friends fight and fall in love (sometimes with each other), plan for a future beyond high school, and try to survive in their rough neighborhood that is in the midst of a gang war. The series reaches a fever pitch when the ongoing violence in their neighborhood starts to personally affect each of the main characters.
