Amazon's Cast For The Boys Has Us Very, Very Excited For the New Superhero Show

The Star Trek vet is set to take on one of the lead roles as Billy Butcher. Urban is a mainstay in the sci-fi/fantasy world: aside from playing McCoy in Star Trek, he's also been in Lord of the Rings, The Chronicles of Riddick, and even Xena: Warrior Princess.

Shue rocketed to fame in the 1980s, thanks to roles in The Karate Kid, Adventures in Babysitting, and the Back to the Future trilogy. In 1995, she was nominated for an Oscar for Leaving Las Vegas, and from 2012 to 2015, she was a series regular on CSI.

Moriarty, who's set to play one of the show's main heroes, has worked steadily for several years but without a major breakout role. She's appeared on shows including True Detective and Jessica Jones.

Quaid, who plays young superhero Hughie, is probably best known for his role as Marvel in The Hunger Games. He's continued to work in smaller projects, both in film and television, since then.

McElligott has had a slew of leading roles on TV over the past several years. She's starred in Hell on Wheels, House of Cards, and The Last Tycoon. In 2015, she even played a real-life character as astronaut's wife Louise Shepard on The Astronaut Wives Club.

This isn't Fukuhara's first foray into the superhero world. In 2016, she starred as Katana in the DC film Suicide Squad, and she voices Glimmer in Netflix's She-Ra and the Princesses of Power.

American audiences probably have never heard of Capon, who has focused a good portion of his career in his native Israel. His most recent role, on the drama series When Heroes Fly, was picked up by Netflix for streaming and is set to have an English-language adaptation.

Mitchell has been tackling guest and supporting roles on TV for over a decade now, since making his debut in 2007 with the short-lived CW series Aliens in America. Since then, he's popped up on genre shows like Arrow, The Tomorrow People, Timeless, and iZombie.

The Gossip Girl star is returning for his first series-regular role since 2015's ill-fated drama Blood and Oil. In the near future, he's also set to pair up with The Boys costar Simon Pegg in the thriller movie Inheritance.

Usher is a relatively new name to most audiences, although he's been working steadily for years. His most recent major film role was in 2016's Independence Day: Resurgence, and on television, he was a series regular on Starz's Survivor's Remorse.

Esposito, who's playing a CIA agent in the new superhero series, is an industry vet who has definitely been in something you've seen (or more than one thing). Her credits include Crash, Spin City, Blue Bloods, and NCIS, among many more.

Alonso has actually been in one of the biggest sci-fi projects of all time: he had a significant role in 2009's Avatar. In addition to that, he starred in a couple of short-lived NBC projects, Deception and The Mysteries of Laura.

Costarring with Urban is a Star Trek reunion for Pegg, who played Scotty in the rebooted trilogy. Pegg's career in British comedy is also quite storied, including Spaced, Shaun of the Dead, and Hot Fuzz.

Aside from the CBS drama American Gothic, Starr is probably not that well known to American audiences. He has, however, been working steadily on TV in Australia over the past several years!
