The Blood-Soaked Final Trailer For BBC's Dracula Series Is Freaking Me the F*ck Out
The most iconic vampire of all time is reemerging on the small screen courtesy of the BBC, and we have an official look at the network's brand-new miniseries, Dracula. After BBC dropped the show's first trailer in December, Netflix — which will be streaming the series for those of us living outside of the UK — released a final trailer on Jan. 3. The bloody clip shows fear-stricken individuals, including a group of nuns, determined to hunt down the supernatural menace, who journeys from Transylvania to London. "He is a monster. He is the devil himself," a voiceover says. (*shudders*)
The show is based on Bram Stoker's classic novel and hails from the creators of Sherlock. Actor Claes Bang — who's appeared in everything from The Square to The Affair — stars as the titular blood-sucker, while the rest of the cast will be rounded out by Mark Gatiss (who also serves as co-creator), Nathan Stewart-Jarrett, Morfydd Clark, John Heffernan, Dolly Wells, and Jonathan Aris.
On Jan. 1, the three-episode series began broadcasting on BBC One. It then hit Netflix on Jan. 4. View the final trailer for Dracula above before watching more teasers for the show ahead.
