There's a little bit more of a time-travel sci-fi bent to "12 Monkeys," but its tale of what happens after a planet-wide disaster should appeal to fans of "The 100" as well. After a devastating plague wipes out billions of people, a time traveler heads 28 years back into the past to try to stop the Army of the 12 Monkeys, the shadowy organization responsible for releasing the virus in the first place. Once in the past, he teams up with a brilliant scientist and works to uncover the true identity of the leader of the 12 Monkeys, a mysterious figure called the Witness, who always seems to know their plans before even they do.
