The gang is back together again! The main characters from the previous two movies have all returned for their third go, including Holland, Zendaya, and Batalon. But several familiar faces — both from the MCU and Sony's Spider-Verse — are making their debuts in Spidey's world! Benedict Cumberbatch's Doctor Strange will step into the mentor role previously filled by Tony Stark, with reports that Jamie Foxx's Electro and Alfred Molina's Doctor Octopus are also appearing in the film. Did someone say multiverse?!
On Nov. 7, Spider-Man: No Way Home shared a new poster, seemingly confirming Electro and Doctor Octopus are back. But, there's more! The post shows Spider-Man fighting off those villains and Sandman, previously played by Thomas Haden Church, as well as the Green Goblin, previously played by Willem Dafoe, lurking in the background. "The Multiverse unleashed," the poster was captioned, followed by a tweet that read, "Go ahead, zoom in on those details."
