Oh, Love. There's only room for one murderer in the You universe, which of course means Joe had to kill his wife. Though Love thinks she has the upper hand by paralyzing Joe, he's one step ahead and already has an antidote ready. He ends up poisoning her and leaving her dead in their kitchen. He writes a suicide note from Love and makes it look like she also killed him. He then escapes and sets the house on fire, seemingly sealing Love's fate.
