Jane Goodale's (Ashely Judd) life is the stuff some women dream about. She's a daytime TV producer and has a steamy romance with the show's dreamy executive producer. All is right in the world until their love story is abruptly cut short, and Jane's left alone, hating men. She decides to conduct a little experiment and begins an anonymous sex column with her womanizer roommate, Eddie (Hugh Jackman), as her main subject. Laugh along as Jane critiques her findings and voices her opinions about men — Eddie in particular — which may or may not end in a sultry New Year's kiss.
