35 Sci-Fi Movies to Watch If You Loved Interstellar

When thinking of Disney, precious cartoon characters and princesses come to mind, not suspenseful science-fiction films. The Black Hole, released in 1979, centers on the crew of the USS Palomino, a craft set to explore the unknown depths of space. As the spaceship is traveling through space, the crew discover a black hole with an abandoned ship, the USS Cygnus, in it. Apprehensive but curious of their discovery, the crew investigate the ship and find that it is being commanded by Dr. Hans Reinhardt (Maximilian Schell), who has dangerous plans of entering the black hole.
