The movie centers on a respected priest named Sang-hyun, who volunteers to participate in an experiment in order to find a cure for a deadly virus. The experiment goes wrong, and Sang-hyun catches the disease and dies. He's miraculously brought back to life after undergoing a blood transfusion — but the procedure turns him into a vampire.
