In "Creed III," Michael B. Jordan will star as Adonis "Donnie" Creed, the son of Apollo Creed, a recurring character in the Rocky film franchise. Creed is a determined, dedicated fighter who seeks to continue the legacy of his father.
Jordan is making his directorial debut for this film. He told Variety that directing was always a goal of his, but it had to be at the right time. "'Creed III' is that moment — a time in my life where I've grown more sure of who I am, holding agency in my own story, maturing personally, growing professionally and learning from the greats like Ryan Coogler, most recently Denzel Washington, and other top tier directors I respect," the actor said. Jordan is known for his roles in films like "Black Panther," "Just Mercy," and most recently, "A Journal For Jordan."
